  1. The Peninsular Malaysian peat swamp forests are a tropical moist forest ecoregion of the Malay Peninsula, which includes portions of Malaysia and southern Thailand. The ecoregion covers an area of 3,600 square kilometers (1,400 square miles) on both the eastern and western sides of the peninsula. The peat swamp forests have formed over hundreds of years, as sediment and organic debris deposited by rivers are trapped behind mangroves, gradually building up a layer of waterlogged, acidic, nutrient-poor soil. These forests are less diverse than the surrounding Peninsular Malaysian rain forests, but are home to many endangered animals.Dipterocarps, including Shorea albida, are the dominant trees, while strangler figs (Ficus spp.) are common at the edges of the swamp forests. Pandan (Pandanus amaryllifolius) and sealing wax palm (Cyrtostachys lakka) are common understory plants. These and other plants provide a source of food for a host of animals, including birds. The ecoregion home to many endangered species, including tigers, Malayan Tapirs (Tapirus indicus), Clouded Leopards (Neofelis nebulosa), Asian Elephants (Elephas maximus), and Sumatran Rhinoceroses (Dicerorhinus sumatrensis).Threats to the forests include: mining, rubber harvesting, and clearing of forest for oil palm and coconut plantations. Land draining has also opened a great deal of space in these forests. Many trees are cut down for development of more space, although this has increased peat forest fires.

  4. 'PRESENTATION'

Presentation is the process of showing and explaining the content of a topic to an audience. A presentation program, such as OpenOffice.org Impress, Apple Keynote or Microsoft PowerPoint, is often used to generate the presentation content. Actually some peofle find it was too hard to doing presentation. When they need to be presenter, they going nervous, clumsy and a lot shy. Actualy for my opinion, it was easy to going through with presentation if we going to be get ready, fully preparation and have a lot of point and resource. Other that, it was really easy with me with a malay language but using other language make me nervous nad lost most the important point when in fornt of audience. Some time anoter language make my brain 2 time work to translate and to think a main point to use....
This just my opinion and i think other people have difference opinion and difference situation...

  5. Statistical Process Control (SPC) is an collection of statistical techniques that are used to monitor critical parameters and reduce variations. We used SPC to achieve process stability and improve the capability through reduction of variability. Often the term "Statistical Quality Control" is used interchangeably with "Statistical Process Control."
The objective of SPC is to get a process under control. This is done by identifying and eliminating any specific causes of variation not associated with the process itself. A process that is in control will constantly perform within its own natural limits.
SPC can be broken into two components: process control and acceptance sampling. In process control, SPC involves these seven tools: Histogram, Check Sheet, Parato Chart, Cause and Effect Diagram, Defect Concentration Diagram, Scatter Diagram, and Control Chart These tools often called "The Seven QC tools." Most of the tools help us to identify a problem in the process. Acceptance sampling is used to reduce variation in the process by using statistical sampling techniques to select the proper sampling size and to interpret whether our whole product should be accepted or rejected. :-)

  6. Biodiesel refers to a vegetable oil- or animal fat-based diesel fuel consisting of long-chain alkyl (methyl, propyl or ethyl) esters. Biodiesel is typically made by chemically reacting lipids (e.g., vegetable oil, animal fat (tallow)) with an alcohol.

Biodiesel is meant to be used in standard diesel engines and is thus distinct from the vegetable and waste oils used to fuel converted diesel engines. Biodiesel can be used alone.Biodiesel can be used in pure form or may be blended with petroleum diesel at any concentration in most modern diesel engines.Biodiesel has different solvent properties than petrodiesel, and will degrade natural rubber gaskets and hoses in vehicles , although these tend to wear out naturally and most likely will have already been replaced with FKM, which is nonreactive to biodiesel. Biodiesel has been known to break down deposits of residue in the fuel lines where petrodiesel has been used. As a result, fuel filters may become clogged with particulates if a quick transition to pure biodiesel is made. Therefore, it is recommended to change the fuel filters on engines and heaters shortly after first switching to a biodiesel blend.

  8. Rice is the most important food for all of us. Eating rice is good for our health compare to the western food. Cooking rice is very easy. It only needs a few easy steps to cook the rice. First of all, rinsing rice helps get rid of any starch and impurities. Rinse until the water is clear and not cloudy. After this, for every cup of long grain rice, add 1 1/2 cups water. Later, bring the rice to a boil, uncovered, at medium heat. After the rice has been cooking for a few minutes, check for holes or "craters." Then turn the heat to low. As a while time , Simmer for another 15 minutes. Finally, Fluff up rice and serve.
