After I learn about the chapter 5 of ICT Competency Workshop which is operating system, I understand that there are still a lot for me to learn even from the keyboard coding shortcuts. That is because different operating systems have their advantages and disadvantages. Like the UNIX operating system, their system properties cannot be modified by users but the system is very powerful. On the other hand, Window operating system properties can be modified by user according to their needs and more users friendly. Another thing I learn during it is the keyboard shortcut that involves “Alt + Tab” keys for switching active windows and “Window + D” keys for return to the desktop. Maybe others already know how to use it, but I am happy to learn it.
Last Saturday, i have attend First Aid Basics class under Briget Siswa group 37. I learned how to give first aid to people who are injured. Madam Mala teached us lots of thing involving first aid including doing CPR to casualties who need it. The class started at 8.30am and finished at 2pm and after the lecture about giving first aid, we have to prepare on doing test at 2.10pm. I prepared my notes so that i will able to answer all ten questions correctly. During the test, we are not allowed to peep others paper or talk to one another. We have to answer all questions in quiet mode. I manage to answer all questions at 3pm and i was the second person who step out from the classroom.

For your information, I use this product now because have a virus just cannot detect by another software anti-virus except Avira.. That is my experience, at the time I use AVG.. One day when I open my laptop and want do some work, it perform very lazy like a snail.. I try to change it to best performance at properties but it still slow and hank sometime.. I feel very bad while I scan and active anti-virus software, everything is alright and nothing virus in system.. Then my friend suggest to use Avira as my system protection.. As we are student, so we are needed to backup some information that related with our lesson. This is the reason that we must have the devices that can use as the function to backup some important information such as pendrive. For myself, I have two pendrive that with different brand which is an 8 GB Kingston pendrive and a 1GB SanDisk pendrive. The size of pendrive is small and light, it is easy to bring to anyway. Hence, it is very convenient to us as we can backup the information wherever we are. Mrs.Bariah is a woman who is not specialised in this subject but she has to lecture it because there is lack of lecturers in our faculty for my course which is introduced from this semester only. Writing test!..After the Hari Raya celebration, we have the writing test. First I heard about that I become nervous a little bit because it is a long time for not write an essay since I left the matriculation college. I ‘m not good in writing and my grammar is improper although I learnt English since in primary school. Actually I don’t like write an essay because it take my time to think about the point. Finally, the day is coming, writing test begin and it take time for two hours. Before the test Miss had given us 10 minutes to review how to write an essay in correct way. The time reviewing was end. I just write what had come in my mind that time and try to remember what we had learnt before about writing. I had no idea actually, but I try to write as much as I can. Hopefully I can get good mark. There is another test!.. I think just the writing test we must taken but there is another the it is grammar test!..oh,no..grammar..i’m not good in grammar.. but a little bit release because Miss told that she will give hint for the test and remaining us to read it. The day of grammar test, some question confusing me because I don’t know what the best answer for it. Finally, we all finished it. So, thankful the test was over.

There are three assignments that must be submitted and I started to feel a little bit tension. Those are VB, computer architecture and technical English assignment. As for technical English assignment, we have to find a product and made a pamphlet like a promoter to promote their product. We have to present it in front of the block W at 10.00 am. Of course I feel very nervous right now. I do not know if I can carry it well. This assignment carries 40% of our total mark and we must do our best at least to satisfy our English lecturer. My group project this time is fatin,mira erni and me. We have decided to choose Iphone as our main product because it has been popular among user nowadays. Even it is quite expensive to a student like me mostly but its features make us really want it. I make a pamphlet with mira, erni search for a video and fatin prepare a text. We give full cooperation so that this presentation will not be like others presentations.

ReplyDeleteIn Bahasa Melayu, we have a ‘tatabahasa’. In English, we have… a grammar. Right? Of course it is right. I need to learn it. Why? Because my language is bad…maybe it is too bad. When I write an essay, I am just write it without considering the grammar. If technical English is in programming style, of course there will be too many error that written by me when I debug it (>_<). We have learned about active and passive sentences. Sometimes, I might get confuses with the given word. In test also, I am blur when changing active word to passive ones (>_<). I also have the same difficulties in Bahasa Melayu. Luckily, I don’t have Bahasa Melayu subject in UMP…peace!

Assalamualaikum to all. Ok, this is my second last entry, this time I would like to write about my favored game. to tell the truth, actually there is not much game I know how to play. But among all the game I like to play, the one that I think the best is Final Fantasy. Final Fantasy is a game that made up by a huge game company Square Enix, a company from Japan. It is strategy-based game beside that it use a story line made look more interesting. Final Fantasy has a lot of series and for different series has different story. Final Fantasy has start its 3D gaming is from Final Fantasy VII. Now it is has the best qualities of graphic for its game compare to the other game. Its graphic , audio and story line it is all the best, and that what burn my spirit (especially the game’s graphic ) to be come a good 3D animator.
