    APPLIED PHYSICS TEST

Huh...finally.. the day is over. Last night we had a test of applied physics at ZDK16. It was really a memorable night.

    The preparation...
I started to revised this subject from Sunday in the evening as i thought that i would have a plenty of time on Monday as Monday is a public holiday. While studied, i watched movies. My brain just can't let all the knowledge of Physics to flow in smoothly into my precious mind. I'm sure this is because i'm not into Physic and in other words.. i hate Physics partially. hehe. I'm not the person who can derive all those formula, resolve all those vectors..ahh i started to feel annoyed.
While i studied, i started with chapter 4 and 5 as chapter 1 until 3 i had studied them in the past Physics quiz and this make me more quicker to complete all those topics.

    The Timorous Night...
I felt quite nervous that night.. all sort of questions were circling my mind. Can i answer the the questions properly? Can i finish all of them by the time given? Can i do it?
I tried my best to complete the Physics Paper but i'm not sure i answered the right answer or not. haha. But i'm hoping to pass the test. Please...

Quesera, sera..whatever will be will be.

    BuSy AGain~

I wonder, everytime when there is becoming Syawal, most of students of UMP will only think to going back home. They are start to make their life busy again to packing many items and stuffs to bring back home. They are acting like crazy to go out to town to find the bus's ticket in order to make their journey back home safe and comfort. Besides, they are busy to know what is going on in their belob=ved house, they are busy to talk many things about the celebration of 'Hari Raya Aidilfitri', they are starting to play some favorite 'Hari Raya' songs.
Moreover, they are busy to find many types of new fashionable, variable, colourful and gorgeous clothes to wear during the celebration. They are not thinking to go to class anymore, in their mind they only thinking of the celebration and the 'duit raya'. They never thought about the assignment anymore, they just busy to think about their preparation for the celebration. Huh...what happen to all those UMP students???!!! heehheh...its always the same to me too! Im can't wait for the becoming festives!

    MY LANGUAGE...
im so sad when people start saying about their level of competency in English. i know my standard of competency in this language but still i would like to try. practice makes perfect. while presenting infront of people im always think and watch over my language. Certain people just believe that they can just do the spontaneous speech, but to do that i think you need to have the language mastered completely. Some people do believe they have the good command in english but they dont. They actually knows how to speak few words in english but still have a certain grammtical mistakes. i didnt mean here to offend these people, but we just need to realised and do not compare to people.

Do belive in practice makes perfect because it is the only way that work to be better in it. im not saying that i have a good english command but i just want to share something. im also still proceeding to learn this languange even though im still not get my skill correctly. try to speak to different person because different person have the different level of competency. try to speak more and read more.

cake. do you love cake? hehe,i love cake so much. as we know, there's lot type of cake flavours. cheeze, chocolate, vanilla, blueberry and so on. there's also ice cream cake. but you know how ice cream cake is made? from my exprience during work at bakery, the ice cream is made from sponge cake and ice cream. sponge cake is used because its light compare than use butter cake. the ice cream is like a cell. the cell membrane is sponge cake and the cytoplasm is the ice cream itself. then, ice cream again is used to coating this sponge cake. so, in ratio, there's only about 20% of sponge cake is use. the 80% goes to the ice cream.

do you noticed that there's lot of shape of the cake. but why shape of the ice cream cake is only circle. this is because to coat the sponge cake with the ice cream is not easy work. you have to make sure the coating of the ice cream is equal at all surface.

when you are going to buy ice cream cake, make sure its fresh or not have been keep in the freezer for a long time. this is because the sponge cake inside the ice cream cake might be dry during freezing.

in addition, when you buy the ice cream cake, this ice cream cake will be put into the polystyrene box. by using this polystrene box, the cake can stand for one hour before its started to melt! so, if you buying this ice cream cake, make sure you can arrived at your destiny in one hour.

A laptop also knows as notebook. Laptop is a personal computer designed for mobile use and small enough to carry. A laptop integrates most of the typical components of a desktop computer, including a display, a keyboard, a pointing device (also known as touchpad), speakers, and often including a battery, into a single small and light unit. The battery is rechargeable battery and charged from an AC adapter and stores enough energy to run the laptop for two to three hours.

In my opinion, I think laptop is suitable for all students and working class who like to do some documents work and presentation because the functions of laptop as well as desktop and it is easily to carry.

    CONFERENCE FOR ENGINEERING SOCIETY

On Tuesday,8 September 2009 the group of K35 and K36 was having a conference in the engineering and society class. This involve quite a lot of people with two representative from each groups. The topic is about building up a factory for making perfume with methyl acetate. Those representatves played the roles as chairperson, client, government, economist, investors, public, biologist, engineer and activists. They have a great fight and argument on their point. This kind of conference is great because it really can mould up the spirit to talk and to give suggestion in the conference involving such a lot of people. Knowing where to interrupt and to ask relevant questions means you really can understand well on what is going on. The whole class was filled with laughters during this conference. ALl those suggestions were great. Until now, I will still smile when I remember those funny words mention by them. Anyway, it will be an interesting activity to be done as we need to face that problem of talking in the conference one day in our engineering world.

Starting with last Saturday, as all UMP students know last Saturday the state minister of Pahang took a visit to UMP and join the breaking the fast ceremony with all the family of UMP. In the morning, many UMPions gather at the UMP mosque to give a hand on preparing the dishes for that night. Associations, clubs, and staffs had done a very good job especially the Briged association and the SUKSIS. All of them work very hard and willing to make the ceremony a success.

Opening Fast with the Menteri Besar Pahang.

It was rather a quiet affair for the so-called opening fast event with the Menteri Besar Pahang. I would expect a grand affair where all the press will come and all. However, it did not happen. Actually, there is a private joke being shared around among my friends. We said that the Menteri Besar Pahang will get to eat all those good food. Meanwhile, we the commoners or students only get to eat kurmas and ‘karipap’ with a packet of soya bean drinks courtesy of Yeo’s. We had a really good laugh at that joke for days. The Menteri Besar Pahang came and went just like an experienced ninja. He didn’t leave any traces at all. He must have a great master to teach him the art of ninja. Sadly, his techniques were too good. I couldn’t get the chance to shake hands with him. Nevertheless, I managed to catch a glimpse of him before he disappeared in the puff of smoke. He was not as tall as depicted in the newspaper, around 5’9 the most. His face was never friendly. This could be due to the Botox injection or as what my friend has said the mystical ‘susuk’ method. In addition, he wore a green ‘baju-melayu’. The Menteri Besar Pahang sure did aware of the ‘in’ colour for this year. Good news for the fashion world that the Menteri Besar Pahang is stylish and keeps his fashion sense in check. But, wearing green ‘baju-melayu’ could be his little effort to promote the green tourism of Pahang. What is the truth? Anyway, the whole experience was rather okay because I have been to opening fast function with the Menteri Besar Selangor and it’s totally a different experience. Perhaps, I could politely request for the Menteri Besar Pahang not to display his ninja skills too much next time. He might have put it as ‘You can go to hell’ to my request. Sighs.

  18. How to Become a Strong Muslim

A strong Muslim has faith which gives him inner and outer strength. If you follow these steps you are well on your way to become a true Muslim and be the love of God.

    Steps
1.Accept that God Almighty exists and His attributes are beyond our imagination. He is capable of everything and anything. Faith in God is essential. Accept that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the last of a long line of Prophets. Accept that the Holy Quran is the last and true word of God.
2.Pray sincerely. Affirm that God is close to you. Always pray on time, never delay.
3.Pray in the middle of the night. Pray when most people around you are sleeping soundly. The name of the prayer is Tahajjud. However to perform this special voluntary prayer, you must have some sleep first, even if it is very short. The night is the most efficacious time to pray.

    KOR SUKSIS

what is kor suksis?? well everyone SUKSIS which stands for Kor Sukarelawan Polis Siswa Siswi or Police Undergraduate Voluntary Corp is an undergraduate police volunteer organization in Malaysia. The idea of establishing Kor-Sukarelawan Siswa Polis's (SUKSIS) was inspired by YAB Dato' Seri Abdullah Hj. Ahmad Badawi, the 5th Malaysian Prime Minister. The establishment of SUKSIS corps in Malaysian Higher Learning Institution is believed to help producing excellent graduates who comply own viable competence, discipline and furnished with noble values, and high self-esteem.

it is quite same with briged siswa since it give us credit hour for one of our subject. so if we fail the subject we need to repeat it again. it needs full commitment from the students that get involved in this voluntary organization.

    My little cousin- Zhe Zhe.
    He is one year old.
He has small eyes, cute smile and sweet voice.
He lives with my family because my mother is his baby sitter.

He is a little fan of a group of singer.
When he crying or had a bad mood, their song are the only way to keep him calm down.

He is look like a quiet baby, but you are wrong!
He is actually very naughty baby.
When I doing my school work, he must come to disturb me.
Then, he throws anything on the table away and tries to tear my book.
He also goes to disturb anyone who is reading newspaper.

When we order him not to do something, he definitely will against us.
For example, I told him don’t play the remote control a thousand time already, but he never listen to me.
Beside this, he like to make noise when we watching TV programs.
So, my family and I never watch complete TV show when he in my home.

Now, I have two week holiday to stay at home.
I not feel happy because I stay with a small ‘devil’.
I can’t do my assignment in peaceful atmosphere.
He always makes me in trouble.
    However, I still love him.
I will forgive him because he just a kid.

  21. sue...say...you like flowers???...you knw about its and its useful??....A flower sometimes known as a bloom or blossom, is the reproductive structure found in flowering plants. Many flowers have important symbolic meanings in Western culture. The practice of assigning meanings to flowers is known as floriography. Some of the more common examples include...red roses are given as a symbol of love, beauty, and passion,Poppies are a symbol of consolation in time of death. In the UK, New Zealand, Australia and Canada, red poppies are worn to commemorate soldiers who have died in times of war. Lily are used in burials as a symbol referring to "life". It is also associated with stars (sun) and its petals blooming,Daisies are a symbol of innocence. In modern times, people have sought ways to cultivate, buy, wear, or otherwise be around flowers and blooming plants, partly because of their agreeable appearance and smell. Around the world, people use flowers for a wide range of events and functions that, cumulatively, encompass one's lifetime....For new births or Christenings ,as a corsage or boutonniere to be worn at social functions or for holidays,as tokens of love or esteem ,as a gift of remembrance for bon voyage parties, welcome home parties, and "thinking of you" gifts.. People therefore grow flowers around their homes, dedicate entire parts of their living space to flower gardens, pick wildflowers, or buy flowers from florists who depend on an entire network of commercial growers and shippers to support their trade..Hundreds of fresh flowers are edible but few are widely marketed as food. They are often used to add color and flavor to salads. Squash flowers are dipped in breadcrumbs and fried. Edible flowers include nasturtium, chrysanthemum, carnation, cattail, honeysuckle, chicory, cornflower, Canna, and sunflower. Some edible flowers are sometimes candied such as daisy and rose..Flowers can also be made into herbal teas. Dried flowers such as chrysanthemum, rose, jasmine, camomile are infused into tea both for their fragrance and medical properties. Sometimes, they are also mixed with tea leaves for the added fragrance...ke09046

Hari Raya Aidilfitri is the celebration all Muslims look forward to each year after a whole month of fasting. Hari Raya Aidilfitri is the Malay term for Eid ul-Fitr which literally means “Celebration Day of Fast”.
It falls on the first day of Syawal, the month after Ramadan in the Muslim calendar.
As the elder sister, I get assigned to heavy duty chores while my sisters have their feet on the table. As the daughter, I get assigned to heavy duty chores while my sister-in-law have their feet on the tableNext on the list is shopping for clothes. This is the chance for a teenager like me to update my wardrobe.
However, as it is a custom for the Malays to wear traditional clothes on the first day of Raya, a big part of the shopping spree is spent on checking out baju kurung or baju kebaya for the girls and baju Melayu for the guys. Some people have their clothes tailor-made specially for Hari Raya.
Every year, my family and I head down to both of my parents' kampungs. Though the trip can be boring at times, we always look forward to meeting other family members. This, to me, is the most important element of this festive season. At the kampung, there is still work to be done. The first thing to do is put up the oil lamps known as pelita which my cousins and I do every year. As the rendang is being cooked outside the house in a big pot, my cousins and I get busy filling ketupat cases with rice. Besides ketupat and rendang, lemang and other traditional dishes are also cooked.
On the eve of Hari Raya Aidilfitri, mosques echo with Muslims reciting the takbir as a sign of the end of Ramadan. In some communities, congregations will go from house to house reciting the takbir. The next day, is Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Everyone is up early, eager and excited. After breakfast, everyone except the children, will go to the community mosque to attend Eid prayer. After that, it is common for Muslims to visit the graves of their departed loved ones.I go with my family to my grandfathers’ graves and recite the Al-fatihah and surah Yassin. The rest of the day is filled with visits to homes of relatives and friends as well as receiving guests at home.Hari Raya Aidilfitri is a joyous occasion. Though it is celebrated by all Muslims in the country, each family celebrates it with the uniqueness that only the family itself can conjure up.Hari Raya Aidilfitri is not just a celebration. It is a wake up call to all Muslims to fill the day with forgiveness, a caring spirit, and colour.

    raya's song

My favourite song for Hari Raya is by Aman Syah entitled Kepulangan Yang DiNanti. This song is all about a father who waited for his son to come home to celebrate Hari Raya together. The ballad begins with a father welcoming his son who is coming back to his hometown after a long time away. The father is really touched when his wish comes true and he is able to celebrate Raya with his son. And he has to understand after his son leaves, that they must be apart again because his son has his own priorities and responsibilities.

The song that I most listen to during Hari Raya is Balik Kampung by the late Datuk Sudirman Arshad who sang this song. I like that song so much that whenever I listen to it, I’ll sing along. The song has a catchy tune and fun lyrics, but what I really like about the song is the meaning. It describes the journey each of us take to go back to our hometown. This happy feeling in the song expressed by Sudirman is what I feel when my family and I are heading back to our hometown.

    culture in Malaysia

In any multiracial society, the intermingling of races result in a melting pot of cultures and ways of life, with different races gravitating towards a common cultural banner and coming closer together.A Malaysian culture – like sharing in the joy of festivities of one another and being tolerant – is not only a national identity but also the evidence of our harmonious society. This is something that we should always strive to preserve and maintain. After all, if we are all going to live with one another “under the same roof”, then the sooner we understand one another, the better. We should follow the 1Malaysia concept, which has the slogan People first, Performance Now. It is meant to promote unity, trust and mutual respect among us.And the ones who should be mainly responsible for the fostering of a truly Malaysian culture is us teenagers. The rapid westernization of our thoughts is indeed a stumbling block towards the implementation of a Malaysian culture. The most important instrument to achieving a national Malaysian culture is the use of a common language. This helps to foster friendly relations among the races as it serves to facilitate communication. Then, there are the cultural shows featuring various cultures.Of course, media outlets like the radio, television and press can help foster this national culture. If we keep at it, it is only a matter of time before we succeed!

TEAM BUILDING CAMP BRIDGET SISWA 21

Last weekends, bridget siswa group21 having a camp at Sungai Jin, Sungai Lembing Pahang. We were sent to Sungai Lembing by bus. After arrive at Sungai Lembing we having our breakfast at one of the stall there. Then, we need to be transported to the camp site by lorry. So, we travelled about an hour through a slippery and dangerous road inside the jungle. The view was very fascinating. After an hour we have been through the road we arrive at the Pesona Advanture Resort our camp site.

Our programme start with the briefing session by the Camp Commander. After that we learn how to us the compass and then we need to find our direction using compass. At the evening, we work together to prepare our dinner. After dinner we have a lecture session about the Integrity. Then at almost 12 a.m, we have night walk. Wow such a great and adventurous experience. We walk through the dark, big and wet forest for about 2-3 hours. The walk was quite difficult as the path was very slippery as it rains. We also need to carry many things along such as chairs, tables and many more as the walk like a practise to save the natural disasters victims. The path was also extream as we need to climb three hills, cross a river and many more. At that time team work was very important.

At day 2, we start our activity with exercise, then we took our breakfast. The best activity for day 2 is the Water Confident. For sure all of us very excited to play in the river as at day 1 we not take bath. Then, we having our lunch and after that we packing our bag and waiting for our lorry to travelled us.

For me the best part of this camp is the one in a lifetime experiences. I also feel that this camp nurture us to have a good teamwork spirit and give us chances to know our friends better.

What do you want to be?

This question always was puzzling in my mind since I was small. I was remembered when I was a child, I want to become what my friend ambition. I actually don’t know what I really want to be. In secondary school, finally I got an ambition that was become a doctor. So, I was started to give my attention toward my ambition. But my hobby had made me only got 2A in SPM. My hobby? Playing computer game! Luckily, I was entered Matriculation College at Labuan. I heard my senior said if you entered matriculation, sure you still have a chance to become a doctor with your result 4.0 principles. At the first year, I was study hard and got 3.92. But when I was at second year, I was playing too much and frequently escaping classes. As a result, I only got 2.92 at my final. The ambition to be a doctor already faded away. So, as you can see why I writing this, I was already entered UMP and my course was Chemical Engineering (Biotechnology). Maybe I will become Bio-engineer, I guess..

Having adapted the nu metal and rap rock genres to a radio-friendly yet densely-layered style in Hybrid Theory and Meteora, the band explored other genres in their next studio album, Minutes to Midnight. The album topped the Billboard charts and had the third best debut week of any album that year. Huh...
I’m really tired. Although the camping had been passed for 3 days ago but I’m really tired. I could not tell or imagine how tired I’m now. For me the camping was really a disaster day for me. I had lost all of my energy at there. There are lot of activity at there even I could only sleep for only 2 hours. Not only that, I could not sleep at all because there are lot of insects that disturb me to get my dream. Even now, there still scar of insects bite on my skin and it feels itchy until now. Besides that, my leg was injured because I was fallen down in night walk activity. You know when we walk at night in the jungle we will have high risk to fall because we could see at all. For me, I can say that the camping can be my nightmare in my life at this university for now.
