    Love and Time

Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived: Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all of the others, including Love. One day it was announced to the feelings that the island would sink, so all constructed boats and left. Except for Love.

Love was the only one who stayed. Love wanted to hold out until the last possible moment.

When the island had almost sunk, Love decided to ask for help.

Richness was passing by Love in a grand boat. Love said,
"Richness, can you take me with you?"
Richness answered, "No, I can't. There is a lot of gold and silver in my boat. There is no place here for you."

Love decided to ask Vanity who was also passing by in a beautiful vessel. "Vanity, please help me!"
"I can't help you, Love. You are all wet and might damage my boat," Vanity answered.

Sadness was close by so Love asked, "Sadness, let me go with you."
"Oh . . . Love, I am so sad that I need to be by myself!"

Happiness passed by Love, too, but she was so happy that she did not even hear when Love called her.

Suddenly, there was a voice, "Come, Love, I will take you." It was an elder. So blessed and overjoyed, Love even forgot to ask the elder where they were going. When they arrived at dry land, the elder went her own way. Realizing how much was owed the elder,

Love asked Knowledge, another elder, "Who Helped me?"
    "It was Time," Knowledge answered.
"Time?" asked Love. "But why did Time help me?"
Knowledge smiled with deep wisdom and answered, "Because only Time is capable of understanding how valuable Love is."

Why Are You So Far Away

Why are you so far away?
Why can't you come here and stay?
Be with me no matter how long
Our friendship will grow even more strong

Why aren't there people more like you
Our friendship has been so long-overdue
We have so much in common you and I
For example at first we were both a bit shy

    And now look at us
    The greatest of the friends
We talk of music and love
And we Disgrace the new trends

Your friendship is the best and much, much more
It's probably better than I could ever ask for
We tell each other problems and feelings we have
I think as a whole we are each one halve

The pain I feel and the pain that is yours
The pain is the same, the type we both endure
We sleep each night knowing it will be there
But we sleep each night in each other's care

I'm eager to wake up each and every day
Just so I can hear what you have to say
Hopefully at the end of these long winded days
We can hold each others hands in a friendship like haze

    an anspiring motivational story...

A man stopped at a flower shop to order some flowers to be wired to his mother who lived two hundred miles away.
As he got out of his car he noticed a young girl sitting on the curb sobbing.
He asked her what was wrong and she replied, "I wanted to buy a red rose for my mother.
But I only have seventy-five cents, and a rose costs two dollars."
The man smiled and said, "Come on in with me. I'll buy you a rose."
He bought the little girl her rose and ordered his own mother's flowers.
As they were leaving he offered the girl a ride home.
She said, "Yes, please! You can take me to my mother."
She directed him to a cemetery, where she placed the rose on a freshly dug grave.
The man returned to the flower shop, canceled the wire order, picked up a bouquet and drove the two hundred miles to his mother's house.

    p/s appreciate our mother..

  8. Life in the heart of

    Life in deserts was sandy,
    Life in caves was lonely,
    Life in ocean was salty,
    Life in car was modern,
    Life in mountains was exhilarating,
    Life in Sun was brilliant,
    Life in forests was mystical,

Some people might say life sucks
or life is full of shit
While other people say life is beautiful
or life is full of surprises
I must say, I agree with all those
Life is whatever you think of it.
and everything you think of it
Life is what you make it of it and what you say of it.

    Life is about sadness
    Life is about happiness
    Life is about pain
    Life is miserable
    Life is about loss
    Life is about smiling
    Life is about crying
    Life is about love
    Life is about laughter
Life is about learning from your mistakes
    Life is horrible
    Life is dumb
    Life is awesome
    Life is depression
    Life is tears
    Life is sorrow
    Life is anxiety
    Life is Bullshit
    Life stinks
    Life sucks
I could go on and on and tell you all about life
But I'm not here to sort this out for you
    because
Life is all about you and how you treat it
    You criticizes it...
    well, you're actually criticizing yourself
    You like it,
    you hate it..
well, its all up to you
    Life is yours
    so,
be careful how you describe it…

    Failing Math
A ten year old boy was failing math. His parents tried everything from tutors to hypnosis, but to no avail. Finally, at the insistence of a family friend, they decided to enroll their son in a private Catholic
School. After the first day, the boy’s parents were surprised when he walked in after school with a stern, focused and very determined expression on his face, and went right past them straight to his room, where he quietly closed the door.

For nearly two hours he toiled away in his room - with math books strewn about his desk and the surrounding floor. He emerged long enough to eat, and after quickly cleaning his plate, went straight back to his room, closed the door, and worked feverishly at his studies until bedtime.

This pattern continued ceaselessly until it was time for the first quarter report card.

The boy walked in with his report card – unopened – laid it on the dinner table and went straight to his room. Cautiously, his mother opened it, and to her amazement, she saw a bright red "A" under the subject of Math. Overjoyed, she and her husband rushed into their son’s room, thrilled at his remarkable progress.

"Was it the nuns that did it?" the father asked.

The boy only shook his head and said, "NO."

"Was it the one-one-one tutoring? The peer-mentoring?"

    "No."

"The textbooks? The Teachers? The curriculum?"

"Nope, " said the son. "On that first day, when I walked in the front door and saw that guy they nailed to the "plus sign, " I just knew they meant business!"

    Salam...

My father called me last week and he told me that I had got an interview for SPA.. I feel shock and don't no what to say that time.My mind is blank on that time. I cannot decide it by myself. I have to ask many people around me. So, what should I do?? Should I go or not?? I really confuse. The interview is on 29th October 2009 which is about another two weeks and on that time final exam is just around the corner. The SPA's interview is not confirm yet whether I get the job or not. So, if I go for the interview and I don't get the job, I will feel frust and it is only just a waste because during that time I can spend my time to do some revision for my final exam. Moreover, the ticket bus from Pahang to my hometown, Penang is too expensive which is RM50. Huhh...I really don't know what to do...please!please!!please..help me!!!On the other side, I feel 70% like not going for that interview. This is because, if I get the job, I will again confuse to decide whether I'm staying at UMP or go for SPA. Leaving UMP is very hard to me because I have comfort myself at UMP,the surroundings and also with all my new friends at here. Furthermore, I have already paid for the registration fee about RM1900. So, if I leaving the UMP, I will feel guilty towards my parents because they have used a lot of money to pay the fee and it will burn just like that. So,what should I do?? I will do solat istiqarah to decide..I think that way is the best..huhu =p

Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson go on a camping trip, set up their tent, and fall asleep. Some hours later, Holmes wakes his faithful friend.

'Watson, look up at the sky and tell me what you see.'

Watson replies, 'I see millions of stars.'

    'What does that tell you?'

good jokeWatson ponders for a minute.' Astronomically speaking, it tells me that there are millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets. Astrologically, it tells me that Saturn is in Leo. Time wise, it appears to be approximately a quarter past three. Theologically, it's evident the Lord is all-powerful and we are small and insignificant. Meteorologically, it seems we will have a beautiful day tomorrow. What does it tell you?

Holmes is silent for a moment, then speaks. 'Watson, you idiot, someone has stolen our tent.'

The beauty of nature you are aware of..

In the evening, I sit in front of my house and feel the soft gentle breeze caress my face and cool my body. The breeze is simply beautiful and nature gives this free to everyone, but it seems that not everyone is aware of this.
Sometimes, the sky is immensely blue. White silvery clouds glide almost imperceptibly against it. The clouds are never the same as they change their shapes continuously. These things are more beauty that I perceive around me. Some days when the sky turns black, with thick heavy clouds a distance curtain of falling rain can be seen. It appears as though some unseen hand is pouring water onto the land to nourish it. The sight is beautiful and it makes me feel closer to the beauty of the earth. After the thunderstorm, the air is crisp and cool. Birds, come out and sing out their jot to life. I sing too as I frolic barefoot on the cool wet grass beside my house. The frog croak joyfully. Even the insects seem to buzz and shriek louder. I am sure they are all singing about how beautiful life is. Indeed it is. In the night, the stars make their appearance. Millions of these twinkling jewels can be seen in the black sky. How wondrous it is to gaze at the glory of the universe. At night, the moon is always make its appearance, sometimes it is round and sometimes it is crescent-shaped. Nevertheless, its presence adds to the beauty of the backdrop of stars in the far reaches of space. It is amazing that there are such things. The beauty of nature is so simple and undemanding that we often fail to perceive it.; Modern man always deluged with artificial things that cut out his awareness of nature. My friends, life in the forms nature gives to us is beautiful. We just have to be conscious enough to be aware of it.

now, id like to share one story that i kinda fancy.

Several men are in the locker room of a golf club. A cell phone on a bench rings and a man engages the hands free speaker-function and begins to talk.

Everyone else in the room stops to listen.

    MAN: "Hello."

WOMAN: "Honey, it's me. Are you at the club?"

    MAN: "Yes."

WOMAN: "I am at the mall now and found this beautiful leather coat. It's only $1,000. Is it OK if I buy it?"

MAN: "Sure, go ahead if you like it that much."

WOMAN: "I also stopped by the Mercedes dealership and saw the new 200 models. I saw one I really liked."

    MAN: "How much?"

    WOMAN: "$90,000."

MAN: "OK, but for that price, I want it with all the options."

WOMAN: "Great! Oh, and one more thing… the house I wanted last year is back on the market. They're asking $950,000."

MAN: "Well, then go ahead and give them an offer of $900,000. They will probably take it. If not, we can go the extra 50 thousand. It is really a pretty good price."

WOMAN: "OK. I'll see you later! I love you so much!!"

MAN: "Bye! I love you, too."
The man hangs up. The other men in the locker room are staring at him in astonishment, mouths agape.....
Then he smiles and asks: "Anyone know who this phone belongs to?"

hahaha hope u enjoy. love, sarah.

  18. let me tell you something about war through this poem

    War Poem

    Run

    Run my small child
    Through the bloody fields
    Weave around the dead bodies
    But never slow down
Beware of the cannons and bullets
Run until you can run no more
    Don't cry my small child
    Let me die here
    Slowly and painfully
I do not worry about me
You must not let your fate be like mine
This is why I tell you
    Run, Run, Run
Until your feet are red and burning
Until you can no longer hear the cries
Until the pain of it all slowly fades
    Be strong and be brave
Grow up to be a leader
    Ever persistent in your missions
    Restore sanity among the nations
    Make me proud, my child
    But for now just run...

  20. COLORS OF THE RAINBOW

The Colors Of The Rainbow Are So Beautiful
They Gleam In The Sky So Bright
All Colors From Red To Blue
They Seem To Unite And Hold Hands
    And Dance With The Rain
The Rain That Falls Like A Teardrop
    A Teardrop With Such Happiness
    For Every Rainbow...
There Is A Pot Of Gold At The End
A Pot Of Gold That Hold The Power...
    To All Happiness
When I Look At The Clolors Of The Rainbow
    It Makes Me Think...
Why Can We Not Be Like Those Colors Of The Rainbow?
Why Can We Not Unite And Hold Hands?
We Could Be Like That Rainbow
With Every Drop Of Graceful Rain...
    Can Make A Beautiful Color...
A Color That Dances With Such Glory
    When They Come Together...
It Is Like A Colorful Smile
    A Smile With Such Peace
So Next Time You Look At The Colors Of The Rainbow...
    Remember The Smile Within...
And Smile Along With This Rainbow...
    Because This Rainbow...
    Will Be Smiling Back...
    And Saying To You...
Remember That You Are Like These Colors Of Me...
That Dance Along With Every Raindrop...
That Is Glistening By The Sunshine...
    Of Inner Peace.

    The Princess and the Pea

Once upon a time there was a prince who wanted to marry a princess; but she would have to be a real princess. He travelled all over the world to find one, but nowhere could he get what he wanted. There were princesses enough, but it was difficult to find out whether they were real ones. There was always something about them that was not as it should be. So he came home again and was sad, for he would have liked very much to have a real princess.

One evening a terrible storm came on; there was thunder and lightning, and the rain poured down in torrents. Suddenly a knocking was heard at the city gate, and the old king went to open it.

It was a princess standing out there in front of the gate. But, good gracious! what a sight the rain and the wind had made her look. The water ran down from her hair and clothes; it ran down into the toes of her shoes and out again at the heels. And yet she said that she was a real princess.

Well, we'll soon find that out, thought the old queen. But she said nothing, went into the bed-room, took all the bedding off the bedstead, and laid a pea on the bottom; then she took twenty mattresses and laid them on the pea, and then twenty eider-down beds on top of the mattresses.

On this the princess had to lie all night. In the morning she was asked how she had slept. "Oh, very baD.Oh!" said she. "I have scarcely closed my eyes all night. Heaven only knows what was in the bed, but I was lying on something hard, so that I am black and blue all over my body. It's horrible!"

Now they knew that she was a real princess because she had felt the pea right through the twenty mattresses and the twenty eider-down beds.

Nobody but a real princess could be as sensitive as that.

So the prince took her for his wife, for now he knew that he had a real princess; and the pea was put in the museum, where it may still be seen, if no one has stolen it.

There, that is a true story.
