READING ENTRY 4 (C11)

23 comments:

  1. English subject, subject that i learned since i am in kindergarten until now. Everytime i learned english, i always learn new words, new style on making a presentation, and i have confident to speak in english with others no matter whether he is a local guy or a foreigner. We learn english not only in our class but when we were outside of the classroom we also learned english. I am saying this because even when we are outside of the classroom we still use english to pronounce words that can not being understand by using malay words. If a foreigner asked you something such as direction, location and so on, you have to use english to communicate with he/she. Here i want to say that english is important subject that we have to learn even if we graduate from our university one day. I will do my best to get a good score in this subject this semester. Hope i manage to do it because i really want to impress my parents with my flying colors results.

  2. Assalamualaikum Miss Wati,
    I am post my comment again to you. This comment I will talk about ICT Competency Workshop. This subject is teach by En.Idzham. This subject only conduct in laboratory. He have teaching us nicely and glad have him as our lecturer. In this subject, we learn about the compartment in the computer. We have tried to ‘operate’ computer and it is not simple as we play computer’s games. The best part is, we can easily buy a laptop without being cheat by the seller…

  3. What do you see when you look into a mirror? Do you see a pretty girl or with a big grin in her face, smiling back at you? Did you see an ugly old looking girl staring back at you with a very unsatisfied face? These were the introduction to an essay by the name self image. It was a very beautifully written essay by my senior in my secondary school and I think this is a very interesting essay.

    We look into the mirror every day to try out our outfits, brush our teeth, and comb our hair. Despite that, almost none of us will stop for a moment and think, what is this girl in the mirror doing, why she looked like how she looked now and what adjective we are going to use to describe her. Actually, the “she” in the mirror is “me”. The “she” in the mirror is there because “I” want an image of myself, “she” looked like that because of what “I” ate and the adjective “I” would like to describe “her” is how “I” describe myself. This is self image.

    Self image is very important in life whereby you need to make full use of your strengths and think of ways to overcome your weakness to be successful in whatever you do. If we see the reflection of ourselves in the mirror and the first thought that struck your head is you are a good-for-nothing dumb, then you will be a good-for-nothing dumb for the rest of the time you tell yourself in the mirror. If you tell the “you” in the mirror that you are beautiful, you can do anything if you make an effort to do something, then you will do well in what you do. So from now on, try telling the “she” or “he” in the mirror: “This will be a fine day and you will do well today.” Do this every day and you will see the difference. This is the power of influence in self image to your life!

  4. Another hand on test in this night. This time is the programming technical test. I really do not know what to study in this subject. I only know that I do a lot of practices for programming technical. I still remember Encik Aziman said that we must remember the basic of programming technical like from the start, we must have a header file, a declaration and the closing. The most important thing is he wants us to rewrite the basic coding for 20 times on a piece of paper. We start in a shock but still do it after calm down in few seconds. He says that we will pass the exam paper with that. I do not think so.

    The time for hand on test is now. I look at the question and my brain just turn into blank. What is going wrong with my system? Even though I am just wake up from my sleep. After few minutes, my system is normal again. I finish my first 4 questions quite fast but the back part is quite hard for me because I do not know what the question ask for. Time is ticking and I still thinking. The worst thing happens. My pc is hanging and my backup copy cannot open. I have to re-do all again and time left half an hour. My eyes are stick at the monitor and my fingers are sliding on the keyboard. I am trying hard to finish it before the time is off. God bless me.

  5. I already have a test on Programming Technique and Application Development Workshop on Thursday and Friday. But, I think have fail in this two subject. The question is tough for me. I can’t finish the question in these two subjects and also I have made many mistakes. The coding is a big challenge to me in these test, I often forget about how to write the coding. I also feel angry that why will I forget the way to do coding while doing test. CODING is really my weakness.

  6. At the last Friday, my briged siswa group 28 had a program that everyone in this group joined this. The activities are we should prepare the foods for peoples to break ones fast at the mosque. I am excited to help each other for prepared the food because it is more fun and good .When we make a work together, it will be more easy and faster. It also can make our relationship become more strength. The foods are delicious .It is my first experience to eat the food in ‘dulang’ or wooden platter or tray. The tray was big and four members were ate the food in it together. We ate the food with happiness and became my sweet memory that day. The best thing, my Chinese classmates also ate with us. They also know to eat kurma .I thought they do not eat it. But I am false because I saw Wendy ate it .She told that she always eat it at home. Besides, they all ate the rice with their own hands. It is rare to Chinese person to eat it with their own hands. Normally, they eat the foods using spoon and cork. We also took some photos for our memory that day. I am happy because I had friends like you all .I hope our relationship become more strength until the ends.

  7. Mid Semester Test!!...
    It is for Computer Organisation and Architecture. There are four chapters I must cover and it is a lot to me. I must read and understand for all 4 chapters. I pray my friends and I can do the best for this mid sem that will be held on this Friday night. The lecturer’s said that we must do the best for the test and quizzes because it help us a lot to gain mark and to get the good pointer for the final sem. ICT Competency Workshop also have quiz for this week. I become to love this subject now because I can treasure what is in the computer, can know the entire component in the computer, and know the functions and also I can see the component in front of me the structure of the component because before this I just see the picture at the slides in lecture. It is really fun if know about the computer component and my lecturer said it also can aim money for ourselves. It can help us ‘make money’. Just a little we know about the computer is enough even though we can’t help others but at least can help ourselves.

  8. Food affects our sleep. Carbohydrates contain serotonin which helps us feel calm and relaxed. Therefore, large amounts of carbohydrates cause drowsiness. However, if we want to stay alert, we should consume a balanced meal containing protein and carbohydrates. Research suggests that carbohydrates increase brain serotonin leading to a rise in insulin levels in the blood. Therefore, a correct diet helps in keeping us alert as the blood sugar, serotonin and insulin levels rise only moderately. Beside, some people sensitive to coffee, tea or soda drinks as these keep them awake. The key to getting enough sleep is establishing a routine before bedtime.

  9. Time management skill….

    This simple time management skills article contained seven free tips for improving rapidly. First tips that I learned from this article is planning the day before. It explained that we must prepare for the next day at the previous one, rather than just putting down our work where we let off probably feeling tired and a bit disjointed spend 15minutes to plan out the objectives us want to achieve the following day. So, it suggested us to write this down in a diary or planning document, we should now be in position to start the next day with immediate focus. The others tips are, plan for the unexpected, improve communication strategies, build in relaxation tone, plan for the short and long term, develop an Effective System for Recording and Focusing and last seventh tips is build in a priority planner. There are so many useful tips in tips in this article that I can use in my daily life.

  10. Salam………today I want to give my opinion, about the media has is big influence on children. Watching TV and video for hours and playing aggressive computer games have a harmful effect on children as they tend to model the violent behaviors from programmers. In addition, children tend to become obese because of lack of exercise, have frequent nightmares, get poor grades, and eat unhealthy foods. Two hours of quality TV and video viewing are recommended for older children below two. Parents should play an important role by spending more time with their children, supervising their viewing habits and setting a good example themselves.

  11. The quality of bus service in UMP is really bad. Buses service in UMP is not provide every day and not every time. The bad qualities of the bus service have causes a lots of problem to us especially on the weekend and public holiday. The distance from UMP to the town that is about 30km. It can be considered as far. It takes about 30 minutes to reach town by bus. It really a big problem if there is no bus service when we want to go out as we don’t have vehicle. We may have to rent car to go out and it is very expensive. The rented car cost about RM5 per hour. It only needs to spend RM4 for the whole trip to town if we go by bus. University should always aware of student needs. University should provide alternative for student if there is no bus service.

  14. Sometimes I have trouble falling asleep, so I listen to relaxing music, which can be a tremendous help. Lately I've been listening to some wonderful song title butterfly fly away by miley cyrus to help me go to sleep as well as recently during some very busy days to help me not feel so stressed out...
    when i was a young girl also my mum always sing a song to me before i sleep..

    What exactly is “relaxing” music? Whether we are aware of it or not, music that's relaxing tends to slow down our heart rates to about one beat per second. If we're feeling stressful, angry, anxious, or irritable, our heart rates tend to increase. Music can actually help our heart rates slow down to a more relaxing pace, changing our physiology. This phenomenon is what can help me fall asleep more easily. It's what is found with many meditation tapes or other music specifically designed for stress reduction or relaxation.

  16. I really miss my parents at hometown. I am far from them now. It takes nine hours from Pahang to kedah. I found a poem for my parents at the internet. I really miss them!!
    A Poem For Parents
    Author unknown
    There are little eyes upon you,
    And they are watching night and day;
    There are little ears that quickly
    Take in every word you say.
    There are little hands all eager
    To do everything you do;
    and a little boy who's dreaming
    Of the day he'll be like you.
    You're the little fellow's idol;
    You're the wisest of the wise;
    In his little mind, about you
    No suspicions ever rise.
    He believes in you devotedlly,
    Holds that all you say and do,
    He will say and do in your way
    When he's grown up like you.
    There's a wide-eyed little fellow
    Who believes you're always right;
    And his ears are always open,
    And he watches day and night.
    You are setting an example
    Every day in all you do;
    For the little boy who's waiting
    To grow up to be just like you.

  18. For ICT competency workshop, I study about the components of computer and its function. This because sir izham will make a HOT1. Even thought that I have seen all the components of computer since secondary school, I still cannot remember it and what its functions. So thats why I must read and remember it well. In secondary school, I just learn it in books. But for this course, I have to search in internet or ask friends to add my knowledge. When the times for HOT1, i have been given to write the name of the components. Almost all the components that I know and just few that I really do not remember what it is. Next task is I must assemble and dissemble the components of the computer.

  21. Hai, I hope you still not boring, because this time I still want to write about computer and this tome is about a CPU. CPU (Central Processing Unit) or microprocessor is a device that controls the operation of the computer and performs its data processing functions. CPU is made up from three major components, that is logic unit (ALU), Control Unit (CU) and registers. CPU have 5 function in computer and this time I would like to give the explanation about every function in that CPU.

    1. Fetch instructions – CPU reads an instruction from memory
    2. Interpret instructions – instruction is decoded to determine what action is required
    3. Fetch data – execution instruction may require reading data from memory or I/O module
    4. Process data – execution instruction may require doing arithmetic or logical operation on data
    5. Write data – result of instruction may writing data to memory or I/O module

  22. Hi…
    After post about hardware I likes to talk about software.

    There is millions of software out there. With all kinds of software makes our lives getting better. For example images processing software give us an ability to manipulate the picture or photo that we took by camera. With this capability the image will become more beautiful and the people who watch it will impress even more. There is software that people now a day always used, the word processing software for example Microsoft Word. People used it to write a letter, done a report or other thing related to writhing. Microsoft Word not only makes the writing easier but also makes it faster. For the best example I using Microsoft Word to post this comment.
