Here, i want to say that after being in University Malaysia Pahang about a month now. I realize that i still have to learn a lot of things here that has not being taught during my diploma in college. I still have to learn from my lecturer and my friends here. I am not so good in mathematics, i have to asked my friends to teach me how to solve few problems and equations that i do not understand. Luckily, they want to teach me eventhough they have a lot of assignment to do.
What is going wrong? Everyone is very panic about this disease includes my mom. Since I am far away from my home at Klang, my family members are worried about my condition at university. In that week, my mom calls me almost every 6 hours. I am happy to hear my mom’s voice and their concern. But the bill is too expensive for me. Just guess my bill amount for that week. I am still waiting for my PTPTN loan. At the moment, we receive memo at 8pm from university’s officer that ask us to go back to our hometown as soon as possible starts from 12am the next day. I heard the new from my friend just after my shower. What a shock. Then, I am rushing in and out for my friends bus tickets. Oh. I fell very exhausted.
I feel tired this feel day because this week got few subjects have to test and also got assignment to do. This is because I still not so understand of some lesson that have been taught. I am slowness like I got told before in my presentation , I am a person that can’t get the information immediately after lecturer taught. So, sometimes I feel stress also about this course, I don’t know whether I can manage it or not. But, luckily my friends will teach me when they realize that I’m not understood in the lesson.
The H1N1 chaos is over for about 2 weeks already. I was lucky that the university administration agreed to declare holiday for all students because at that time I was also having a fever, sore throat and I always felt nauseated. Luckily, I went back to my hometown in Kuala Lumpur. At first I was so worried that I caught the deadly virus that I started to avoid my friends. When I reached Kuala Lumpur, the first thing I asked my mother was to take me to the hospital for a check-up.
When I went to the general hospital in Kuala Lumpur, it was flooded with patients. Of course, it was not a news for the hospital to be flooded with patients, but to be in such a busy state at 10.00pm in the night is sure something new. In the hospital, there are a lot of people walking around. Most of the patients there wore mask, some of them sneezing into a piece of thin tissue paper, and a few of them coughing while covering their faces with their bare hands.
In my point of view, the public already have awareness on the seriousness of the deadly H1N1 and took appropriate precautions to prevent the spreading of the virus. The patients with cough wore masks is an evident of the awareness in public of the H1N1 virus. Some family brought the whole family for check-up when one family member in their household caught symptoms of H1N1. Very fortunate of me, I am just having normal high fever because I took too much spicy food. The doctor also told me to have my meal on time to prevent me from feeling nauseated. I hope that this H1N1 outbreak will give a warning to the public to take care of their cleanliness all the time.
In this year,I studies in UMP.I have 6 subject in this year.In this course,programming techniques is very important to this course.We can fail if no understanding this subject.The subject is teaching by Mr Aziman Abdullah.In a week,we have 3 times for his class.In monday,we have 2 times in morning and evening.We have class lec and lab.In lec class,we learn about how to make a programming.In this class,we mixture with section 12.This class also have at tuesday morning.For lab class,we go to lab and try make a exercise programming.We also learn about input and output programming.Sometime,I not understands this subject.I feel very tension if I cannot understand this subject.But I think I must more studies for this subject.The conclusion to succesful we have cover this subject.
The subject of Technical English has an individual presentation. The lecturer must give marks about our presentation. I know everyone is afraid to face this all included me. The topics that we must present are about ourselves and our legends. Actually, I do not know how to make it especially legends part. That because I think the legend must be the person that is famous about their career. In my life, I do not have a legend like that except my family. My families are very imperative to me .That day, I still thinking about that because I do not have idea for it. The next day, Miss Wati said that the legends can be people that influence your life like your parents, a group or association and anyone. So ,I got idea who person that I want to be my legends .I am decided to make my own brother as my legends because he always give me support and advice about my future life. In other words, he was a leader to manage my future life. I must get his opinion before I decided what actions that I must take continue my studies. I am respect to him because he always gets what he wants in his life. He was successful in his life. I hope he always happy whatever he do for himself or everyone.
Application Development Workshop. At first I heard about this I do not really know actually what I must learn. After I do a lot of lab sheet in computer lab I can see what actually I learnt. It is fun for me. In this subject we had learnt how to develop a system for the user such as the application form. In the form it is must have the button, textbox, radio button ,check box, listbox which have the different function. To make the tools functionally, the code that we write must correct before the tools can use. It is not easy to write the code. We had Hand on Test about the how to develop a system used to calculate total payment for the customer of book store. I was a bit different in the class that I had learnt. I try to answer it for the best I can. For this subject also we are suggested to buy the book for visual basic for help us in understanding more in what we had learnt. There are many exercises in the book that can do. Practice make perfect. Of course, if I do the exercise I can understand more and it also can help me to love more this subject. It also can make me want to explore more about this.
Fundamental Discrete Structure is a mathematic subject. Everyone who has taking computer course also must takes this subject. This mathematics are relevant to computer subject. Without this subject the programmer also can not create a programs .Actually, I love to learn maths although this sometimes this subject is not easy for me to learn.. In UMP, I am already finished the syllabus of chapter 1 2 and 3.So,I will learn in chapter 4 this week. My mom has say that we cannot good in mathematics if lazy tu study it. This lazy mean we do not make any revision about the previous topics after the lecturer gives explanations about the topics .So, we will never good in mathematics. The best way to get A in mathematics subject are always make revision about the topics, asking lecturer if do not understands it and always must make own exercise .I am sure by doing this way, it can help me to improve in this subject. I really hope that I can get score A in this subject for this semester.Mathematics are relate with computer system, So, when someone are good in mathematics, they also not good in computer.

In this article, it explain about the meaning of stress, what good stress and bad stress, what the causes of the stress overload, signs of stress overload, how to keep stress under control and how to build our resilience. From this article, I knew that stress is a feeling that is created when we react to particular events. It is the body’s way of rising to a challenge and preparing to meet a tough situation with focus, strength, stamina and heightened alertness. Besides that, this article also explains about stress also has good and bad stress. What that I learned from the good stress are getting ready to overcome big problem and article of this stress can help us on our toes, ready to rise to a challenge. In this article also stated what cause stress overload nowadays is being bullied or exposed to violence or injury.
There are many dangers present in a home. Connecting many electrical appliances to a single socket is very dangerous as it may lead to a fire especially in old houses with worn-out wiring. Touching an electrical shock. Concealed wiring in the walls of modern houses when one is driving a nail in, and uncovered electrical sockets near the floor are also hazardous. Many electrical appliances are potentially dangerous if used carelessly. Even the cylinder of cooking gas can explode, resulting in death and serious injury. Sharp instruments lying around the house are also sources of danger.
Sending emails is easier, quicker and cheaper than sending normal mail. The message goes directly normal from the sender to the recipient at negligible cost. Since in email move quickly, they can be sent all over the world several times are day. Besides that, e-mails are eco-friendly as no paper is involved. E-mail can also be sent from anywhere in the world as long as there is access to a computer and telephone line. All mails can also be saved onto diskettes for future reference and carried along wherever a person goes.
31 August 2009 Today, Monday, is the” Independent Day of Malaysia”. Since today is public holiday, I have no need to go to class. It supposed to be a happy day but I end the day full of disappoint and angry. I planned to go to Kuantan to buy some food and shopping because the foods that I bring from home almost finish already. I also plan to watch movie at Megamall cinema. However, my entire plan has broken. There were no buses available for the whole day. I almost get mad! I already have many weeks didn’t go to town since there are too many activities to do last few weeks. Finally have free time and now telling me that there was bus service today really get me angry. But what can I do? I don’t have license, so I can’t drive. My roommates are all busy. No one can take me to there. So, I just sleep and playing games all the day. Hope that university will take action and solve the bus service problem in university for the convenient for the entire student that studied here.
There is computer architecture and organization last friday night. It seems so hard for me eventhough i have revised that subject already. This subject is little bit boring as history suject at school. This test include from chapter one to four. We have to answer the question in about one and half hour. The test started at 9 pm until 10.30 pm. But what happen to me is that i only answered that question in about 40 to 50 minutes. After that i leave out the class. It is not i already know the answer but the worst is i do not understand the question itself. Thats the reason why i leave the class early. Right now i can imigine how the reasult would be. I am quite sure it will be in not more than 5 mark altogether.
What should i do to keep my voice loud and clear while presenting? toastmasters club? Or any organizations could help? In my secondary school life, i always practice my english through conversation with teacher. other than that, i also sang english songs in my house only in order to improve it(my opinion). Sometimes, in some other ways which i found not so useful to help me on it. even i went to tuition class, it may only help me in improving my vocabulary. the tuition class didn't teach me any speaking skill , thus, i tried a lot to get myself used to it. Perhaps i can enhance my language in this technical english subject.Who knows? by listening to english songs, i found that i can relax and release stress."Fall For You", by Secondhand Serenade is one of my favourite songs.
ICT Competency Workshop, also a subject which I must take in this sem.. Have two session that is lecture and lab. I feel so good while lab class but so bad time lecture class.. Why? Because at lab, we learn and do or see the matter which discussing by teacher. So, easy to us understand about it, about the hardware or computer component. This subject also recover about part of computer and discussion about any brand of manufacture computer, which brand is better to use with some reason or what the news and latest.. We also learn about OS(operating system), how to install it at our pc or laptop.. And I have try it at my laptop and now I use the latest OS namely Window Seven, so beautiful and fast from window vista.. Maybe I can tell about others OS for next week or any time..

Fasting is not just feel hunger and thirsty but it is also teach ones person to behave themselves properly. We can see nowadays, too much lack of manner among teenagers. Teenager suppose to the next leader of this country,but why too much damage occur. This fasting month should teach them the way to control themselves. They should learn civics subject. Besides, student from colleges or university should strong to avoid any disaster. Everyone should aware this problems. I think I have talking too much. hello…. Now I want to write about my architecture subject. It’s like a history subject and that’s why I’m not really like this subject. First time I come in this class I feel so boring and I’m not give more attentions. I and my friend talk at the back. Sometimes I feel so lose but if I give attentions in this class I automatically I sleep. So, if I don’t want this happen I talk and talk… bur I still try to study even I don’t like this subject and don’t give attentions in his class… I read architecture notes and try to understand. And know I think I understand even a little only but I’m happy. But one chapter I like in this subject. Its is numbering because its like math and it make me fun study this subject.
I love to study programming. That is why I computer science as my course in this university. Programming technique is about problem solving in our daily live problem. How can it be solve and in what way can it be solve. I love to learn those statements, looping, array and many other subtopics that were teached here. It is interesting when you can solve many problems. It is more and more interesting if you are really understood those C++. There, you will find that programming technique is not hard as everyone talks about. But the problem here is i am hardly to understand those languages. For me it like learn new language just like we learn ABC in primary school. One of the best subject that I learned in UMP is ICT competency Workshop. This subject teach us what is the main computer’s hardware or electronic components and how it is work. Firstly I think that this subject is boring because I already know the main components in computer but when the class started I realized that my knowledge in computer is very little compared with our lecturer Mr. Izham. There are so many thing that I don’t know and before this I completely don’t know how its work. Following this lecture I realize that computer are very complicated object. The CPU(control Processing Unit) is the main city of computer, is done all process including transferring data, information, and instruction to all other component such as RAM(Random Access Memory), Hard Disk and I/O devices (Input Output devices). Same with CPU, RAM also very important in computing. RAM is like a main entrance to the city. Data, information, or instruction must pass the RAM before they can enter the CPU. So I will continue about computer in next post….
This month, I have many quiz and test. For mathematics almost all the topics has the quiz.Even thought the quiz is just 10% of my final mark, it was really important to me. So before I do the quiz, I read all the notes in my laptop. Why in my laptop?? This because I really do not like to print notes.hehe.. Besides the quiz, I also have to take the test 1 which is about topic 2 and 3. So, before the test, I invite my friends to study together. This because when we study together, we can learn more and understand more. When the time to do the test 1, I really manage to do it well. I am confident with myself.

It give a headache, I don’t remember much and I don’t have any dairy neither. So for this august entry comment I would like to write something else, but still related with my course. ReplyDeleteoh no....same like study history in secondary school...history about computer..i like to play computer game..but when study this subject..whoa..i don't like history from secondary school..so it more difficult for me study this subject..try hard to study but i cant...i felt sleep when first time i try to study...what must i do..it important for me to past my exam this final...so tough for me to do it but i try my best to fight my sleeping habbit...

ReplyDeleteNow I want to write about my architecture subject. It’s like a history subject and that’s why I’m not really like this subject. First time I come in this class I feel so boring and I’m not give more attentions. I and my friend talk at the back. Sometimes I feel so lose but if I give attentions in this class I automatically I sleep. So, if I don’t want this happen I talk and talk… bur I still try to study even I don’t like this subject and don’t give attentions in his class… I read architecture notes and try to understand. And know I think I understand even a little only but I’m happy. But one chapter I like in this subject. Its is numbering because its like math and it make me fun study this subject.

ReplyDeleteI love to study programming. That is why I computer science as my course in this university. Programming technique is about problem solving in our daily live problem. How can it be solve and in what way can it be solve. I love to learn those statements, looping, array and many other subtopics that were teached here. It is interesting when you can solve many problems. It is more and more interesting if you are really understood those C++. There, you will find that programming technique is not hard as everyone talks about. But the problem here is i am hardly to understand those languages. For me it like learn new language just like we learn ABC in primary school. But, no matter what happen i will try my best to understand and put my feels into this subject to know about this subject better. Fighting!!!!!

ReplyDeleteOne of the best subject that I learned in UMP is ICT competency Workshop. This subject teach us what is the main computer’s hardware or electronic components and how it is work. Firstly I think that this subject is boring because I already know the main components in computer but when the class started I realized that my knowledge in computer is very little compared with our lecturer Mr. Izham. There are so many thing that I don’t know and before this I completely don’t know how its work. Following this lecture I realize that computer are very complicated object. The CPU(control Processing Unit) is the main city of computer, is done all process including transferring data, information, and instruction to all other component such as RAM(Random Access Memory), Hard Disk and I/O devices (Input Output devices). Same with CPU, RAM also very important in computing. RAM is like a main entrance to the city. Data, information, or instruction must pass the RAM before they can enter the CPU. So I will continue about computer in next post….
This month, I have many quiz and test. For mathematics almost all the topics has the quiz.Even thought the quiz is just 10% of my final mark, it was really important to me. So before I do the quiz, I read all the notes in my laptop. Why in my laptop?? This because I really do not like to print notes.hehe.. Besides the quiz, I also have to take the test 1 which is about topic 2 and 3. So, before the test, I invite my friends to study together. This because when we study together, we can learn more and understand more. When the time to do the test 1, I really manage to do it well. I am confident with myself.

Hello Miss Wati. For this august comment entry I don’t want to write what happen to me or what happen in my course any more. It give a headache, I don’t remember much and I don’t have any dairy neither. So for this august entry comment I would like to write something else, but still related with my course. For the first entry is about motherboard. It like the heart of computer, that connect with everything inside the computer. It is the house of CPU, and it allows devices to communicate with it and each other using it bus system. The most popular type is AT and ATX. Selection of motherboard determines capabilities and limitations of the system in your computer. So whenever you want to buy a motherboard choose wisely.
