  2. I have learned at my college how to attend interview session. We have practice it together with our lecturer. Here i learned how to make a perfect way to give a speech in public. It is very exciting for me to learned a new thing differ from what i have learned before. The technique of learning english here is also differ from my college because we use technology like computer to access or google more on how people are doing their speech. From there, we can learned how to make a perfect speech and at the same time we also can learned how to use the computer to make our speech and speaking perfect too.

  3. Discrete Mathematics is my weakness since I am in my secondary school. The few questions that I could not answer were always the few questions related to discrete mathematics such as sets, declaration systems, logics and so on. If I am not mistaken, there was a time when I could score full marks in my modern mathematics in Form 5, but I get 95 marks just because I forgotten to write the one element in the set in question 1(a), and therefore I got the rest of the question wrong because the questions are related. Due to that, I hate the few chapters in the textbook, swearing that I would not see them again when I enter university.

    As usual, the reality is often the opposite of what we wish. If we hate engineers, we will marry an engineer one day. Computer science is all about discreet mathematics and we will learn this subject until our third semester. I froze when I found out this cruel reality. Despite that, I could do nothing much than to accept discrete mathematics as it is and try as hard as possible to absorb the theorems and principle involved in solving problems related to this subject.

    I hope I could wipe away all the negative thoughts about discrete mathematics and master this subject as it is a core subject if I want to be a very good computer scientist.

  4. Another subject that I am taking are Programming Technique, Computer Organization and Architectures, ICT Competency Workshop and Application Development Workshop. In my opinion, the main important subject is Programming Technique. It because to become a programmer, he or she must have a lot of skills. En. Aziman says that we must makes mistakes when doing programs .First time I heard it is weird but after his explanation I can understand what he means .Makes mistakes during running the programs means we do not scared about mistakes that we have done. From the mistakes, we can know what are wrong and have chance to correct it again .So, it also can improve our skills when running the programs .As the conclusion, mistakes can makes us become more good, but be careful do not makes same mistakes in our life. We not only makes mistakes when running the program but also on our life. I believe that everyone have makes mistakes, but this time to not repeat it again. If not, you will regret it again. For me, I have make the big mistakes in my life. The big mistakes that I want share with you are I want to be a pharmacy but I decline the offer from Suruhjaya Perkhidmatan Awam(SPA).It only diploma but if I accepts that offer, I will get the job in front of my eyes. But it is worthless, I do not accepts that offer but continued studies in matriculation. And now ,I am continue studies in university, but in system computer course. I very regret it, but nothing I can do to back the past. Whatever I am studies in this course ,I must believe myself I can be a good programmer. Hopefully.

  5. Have you ever imagined how the interfaces that we usually see in msn or facebook create? How the pop-up can be so creative? That are what I always think in mind.

    Definitely Visual Basic is the answer. Puan Bariah tells us about the uses of Visual Basic by introduce us to the user interface. Then we can create our own user interface step by step. I am very curious about it and start to explore by create my first user interface. We learn to drag labels, buttons, text boxes and picture boxes into our form. After that, we must name them according to their name in computer language. It is interesting to put and share our pictures in the form. Finally my interface is done. The next step is I have to create my own command codes to run the interfaces. The pop-up of “Welcome” must be pop out when I choose and click the English language button and otherwise.

    Suddenly I press a wrong button and jump out from my form. I have a shock for a while. Luckily I have my copy in my file. After few minutes, my interface is done. My lecturer is surprise that I put a picture of Winnie the Pooh as a logo in the interface. I just like it because it is very cheerful. Well done.

  6. This week are too busy.There are many test that I have to prepare.For the last week,I had took a Fundamental Descrete Structure test.The questions are quiet difficult.The test include of eight question.On next thursday night in this week,I nedd to prepare for programming test.Actually I did not understand how to do programming and build a program.So I need to study hard for this test because its marks will 20% calculate for this semester.While on Friday evening,I also have a test for subject Application which teach by Madam Bariah.I think I will get some stress this week because there are many things I need to settle.

  7. For me, English is a difficult subject also. This is because my English are very poor and also lack of general knowledge. I have to improve my English no matter in vocabulary, tense or others thing. In the subject technical English, I have learn another thing other than vocabulary or tense. That is, I now more clear about how to become a good presenter. Now, I’m become more relax than before when facing to audience. I am a person that will easier feel excited and uncomfortable, but now I have learned about the skills of doing presentation and now I’ll trying to managed it. The thing that I have learn that have to be concern when doing presentation, such as, we have to make eye contact with audience, sometimes also have to use some body language to make the presentation more funny so that audience would not feel stress and this also can make it become attractive. Also, our voice must be louder; this is to make sure that audience can get the information. However, this is hard for me because my voice is not loud enough. Hence, I think I have to improve my volume of voice also….

  9. Fundamental Discrete Structure is one of my favorite subjects. The lecturer who teaches us this subject is Ms. Rahimah. I like mathematics since I was in primary school. Solving Mathematical problems is one of the entertainments during school time. I feel success when I successfully solve a hard question. So, I may put more afford and more attention to this subject. Besides, ICT Competency Workshop is also one of my favorite subjects. This subject is all about the computer components, hardware and the function of each of the component. I love class at lab. This is because I can online and msn there. I can chat with my old friend here. I also can download many songs there. The wireless line at my hostel is not good. I often heard my room mate complain that can online and suft the net. They need to go to library which is so far from our hostel in order to online.

  10. Now I want to talk about programming technique. This subject guided me how to become a programmer. I wanted to be a programmer one day even though my childhood dream is to be a doctor but now I must leave my dream and start thinking about my future. To be a programmer I must start from basic, this subject guided me about programming from the beginning. In this subject I have been teach by En. Aziman. He told us not to be afraid in programming. Programming need a lot of afford because it is not easy for someone to program some thing if they do not like programming. So for me this is not a problem this is a chance. In the first day of the lecture, En Aziman teach us about problem solving. It is importance for programmer to solve the problem because application is program according to problem. It is fun learning programming and I hope I will become a good programmer one day.

  12. I'm very happy because i finally have my own laptop.How much is it? For us, the graphic and multimedia course student, we need a laptop with great graphic card, large RAM, and great performance. Therefore, Our lecturer suggested us to buy APPLE laptop.
    At first, we all must be very excited becouse we knew that APPLE laptop is designed for graphic which suits us. But, unfortunately the price is very more expensive than we expected, which costs RM 4000 and above.
    Since I mentioned jsut now, i have bought a laptop BUT it's not APPLE laptop. It's DELL STUDIO laptop and still it costs me RM4000. Why i don't buy APPLE? I bought the laptop from my father's friend as he is a trader. He provided me many information about the laptop. so I think I get a good laptop.

  13. In application development workshop the title for the first chapter is introduction to application development workshop. In this chapter, I know about what database, software. I also know the steps for software development cycle and programming tools like flowchart.In chapter two, designing user interface, I learnt how to use the textbox, label, button, and mores also know how to work with multiple controls to make the sentences same and the size also same. Lastly, learnt how to find and fix the error in system that made.
    Fundamental discrete structure is teaching by Miss Rahimah. Logic is the first chapter. It is about proposition, predicates, quantifier, valid and invalid arguments. The benefits we learnt this topic is it was important in make a decision in the programming. The second chapter is set theory. It was about set,: elements that contain in a set, subset, proper set, set complementation, De Morgan Law, disjoint and not disjoint set, and power set.

  14. Direct selling is a fast expanding business. In order to regulate and promote genuine direct selling businesses, protect the consumer and ban all illegal pyramid direct selling schemes, the government has passed the Direct Sales Act with effect from 1 June 1993. The Act states that companies wishing to operate this line of business must apply for and obtain a Direct Sales License. At the same time, distributors working for the company must have with them at all times, their identity card, and an authority card showing the relevant details as required in the Act. Distributors are also not allowed to call on customers either on Sunday or Friday (the rest day for the state), on public holidays, and between 7 p.m. to 9 a.m. daily on other days. Furthermore, sales to customers costing RM300 or more per transaction require a Direct Sales contract. This contract must be in writing signed by both the seller and the buyer, list details of the product or services rendered, and have a cooling-off period of 10 working days. This cooling-off period allows customers to change their mind about buying the product or service.

  16. Continuous about “Non Verbal Communication is Communicating without Words”……….

    Non Verbal communication include touch, glance, eye contact, volume, vocal nuance, proximity ,gestures, facial expression, intonation, dress, posture, and smell it way we wear our clothes or the silence we keep.
    Non verbal communication is important because it is one the key aspects of communication and especially important in a high context culture. It has multiple functions. First, it if used to repeat the verbal message for example is point in direction while stating directions. It also often used to accent a verbal message. For Example is verbal tone indicates the actual meaning of the specific words. Then, it way substituted for the verbal message especially if it is blocked by noise, interruption, or nothing else.
    In conclusion, communication skills are important in our day life as to make sure that we have good relationship among people although the way of the communication is non verbal as I mentioned earlier non verbal means communication without words.

  17. This course bachelor in computer science and multimedia are new course in this university “UMP” so we don‘t have senior to ask about this course for more detail. We are from graphic course just do and learn just try something new without futher detail in that course. From day to day we just find out new thing one by one just like a child learn ABC. After a month follow this course i think it quite interesting and also challenging." Learn more do more" it a quote that best describe for all of us computer science and multimedia student.

  18. Assalamualaikum.. and a very good day..

    For today, I almost like to talk about subject Computer Architecture & Organization. Firstly, En.Fadhli is very best person. I very like his style in teach my class, always smile and have a lot of joke. Hehehe.. Although, I still not understand what him try to tell us truly, at least i very like to go his lecture.. As we know this subject will cover about how component or hardware computer work in system computer, and what function all of component in CPU, and their history, and characteristic.. In others word, this subject give student know more detail about hardware computer work.. Especially, at motherboard who have processor, main memory, cache memory, input output module, and system bus.. Maybe this subject so bored for another student, and sometime me also feel like that but I know I can pass correctly this subject because En.Fadhli is very best.. Not like his subject.. Hehehe…

  19. Assalamualaikum…
    The next subject that I would like to mumbling about is programming techniques. This subject is conducted by Mr.Aziman. the first thing we learn is to create a simple program.

    #include (………..)
    Int main()
    {
    Printf(“Heloo world”);

    Getch();
    Return 0;
    }\

    If I am not mistaken…we do the program together. Each one of us use computer that are provided in the laboratory. We use software that called Borland C++ 5.02. the first time I made the program,it was fun. Why? Because I got error when typing the program…that the first and best experience I ever have. Mr.Aziman always gives advice to us…he looks like motivator (>_<). Too much looking at the computer make my head headache I think. And I think my spectacles will have high power (too much exposure to personal computer and laptop ).

  20. A few months has gone, and only now I wrote this, it seem very late. But just like people always say “Better late that never”, right? Alright this time I want to write about my math class, Fundamental Discrete Structure. Our lecture Miss Rahimah seems like a very nice person, not hard study from her. After all almost all what I learn I in that class, I already learn it in my secondary school. It just like refresh old memory. So I feel more confident when learning and answering exam (compare than the other subject). However just like people say “If something go too well, it never end well”. I hope it never happen to me. Or else...

  22. A laptop (notebook computer) is a personal computer designed for mobile use and small enough to sit on eno,s lap. The component of laptop are a display, akeyboard, a pointing device(a touchpad, also known as a trackpad, and a pointing stick), speakers, and often including a battery which is very small and light unit. Laptops with thicknesses between 0.7-1.5 inches (18-38mm) and dimension ranging from 10x8 inches (27x22cm,13" dispaly) to 15x11 inches (39x28cm,17" display) and up are usually shaped like a large notebook.Modern laptop weigh 3 to 12 pounds (1.4 to 5.4 kg) which most of the older laptp are havier compared to modern laptop. Most laptop are designed in the flip form factor to protect the screen and the keyboard when closed.

  26. My forth course in University Malaysia Pahang (UMP) is Application Development Workshop. This course was taught by Puan Bariah. This course is also like programming techniques which is the new course that I leran in my life. This course does not have any lecture, but only 4 hours in computer lab. So I taught that this course might not be to boring because it may using computer. When the first time I learn about this course, I think it not to difficult because I just have 2 do some interface and coding. I do the interface and coding in the visual basic studio. When doing the interface, I really have fun with it. But when come to make the code, it really difficult. I have to understand the code that I have to write. That way I said just now that this course is almost the same as programming techniques.
