  2. A very good evening to all..My name is khairul asrap bin abdul malik from M03. A class which has the most foreign students comapared to any mechanical engineering classes. Something i would like to share is a book that i've recently read past few months.A book entitled "Food Hunger. If people would have judged from the title, they would have taught about food or at least about people that has got connection with hunger and the life or a poor man but actually its not. It's a book that tells about two characters which is the author itself and also boy and a girl called micah and Sadima. Micah and Sadima is actually sibligns and their mother died during giving birth to Sadima. It ended with tragedy by a magician who wanted money instead of helping any other people. Their father ended of feeling helpless and regreted what had happened and they all hated the magicians in the world. Magician are the only group or community that does not bow to the king and live their life with their own policies.

  21. The effect of global warming to the earth
Global warming is the warming up of the planet above the temperature. It seems that the temperature is rising at a rate far faster than ever before and it is may be the activities of the human population.
There are many reasons for global warming. For example, Humans are pouring carbon dioxide into the atmosphere much faster than plants and oceans can absorb it. Industrialization, deforestation, and pollution also have greatly increase atmospheric concentrations of water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide, all greenhouse gases that help trap heat near Earth’s surface.
Global warming is really a big problem we have to deal with nowadays, because it has the potential to change forever our lives. How can we expect a happiness life, if the environment of the earth is so bad .So we should change it do our best .

I read about article, tallest building in the world. In my opinion, the world's buildings are getting taller and taller, and it is never enough, continuous all the time. It is all about ego. Once the country has the building, it shows power. It was common phenomena in 1970s era in United State of America, the rapid growth of building was unstopable. In 1998 Malaysia has Petronas Twin Towers, the building that Malaysian can be proud of. Combining elements in its desgin, it shows harmony and the building is rooted in tradition and about Malaysia's aspiration and ambition. Instantly at that particular time, the world realize instantly about Malaysia and its characteristics.

  30. Now i want to tell you about my idole.
My idole is Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad.
Tun Mahathir bin Mohamad born in 10 July 1925 is a retired Malaysian political figure.
Mahathir was born in Alor Setar, Kedah, the youngest of nine children of a school teacher and a housewife. His father, Mohamad Iskandar, was of half-Indian origin, being the son of a Malayalee Muslim (who migrated from Kerala) and a Malay mother, while Mahathir's own mother, Wan Tampawan, was Malay.
He was the fourth Prime Minister of Malaysia. He held the post for 22 years from 1981 to 2003, making him Malaysia's longest-serving Prime Minister, and one of the longest-serving leaders in Asia. During his term in office, he was credited for engineering Malaysia's rapid modernisation. Mahathir is also known for his criticisms towards western and developed countries.
During his administration, he was considered to be one of Asia's most influential leaders. Mahathir is also noted in the Western world as an outspoken critic of Western-style globalization.

  31. Here,i would like to continue about my idole,Tun Dr. Mahathir.

During World War II, he sold pisang goreng (banana fritters) and other snacks to supplement his family income during the Japanese occupation of Malaya. Mahathir attended a Malay vernacular school before continuing his education at the Sultan Abdul Hamid College in Alor Star. Mahathir then attended the King Edward VII Medical College (the predecessor of present-day National University of Singapore) in Singapore, where he edited a medical student magazine called The Cauldron; he also contributed to the The Straits Times newspaper pseudonymously under the nickname "Che Det".

  32. This also about Dr. Mahathir from me.

Mahathir was also President of the Muslim Society in the college.Upon graduation in 1953, Mahathir joined the then Malayan government service as a medical officer. He married Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali a fellow doctor and former classmate in college on 5 August 1956, and left government service in 1957 to set up his own private practice in Alor Star. Mahathir thrived in private practice, and allowed him to own by 1959 a Pontiac Catalina and employ an ethnic Chinese chauffeur (at the time, almost all chauffeurs in Malaysia were Malays, owing to the economic dominance of the ethnic Chinese). Some critics have suggested this foreshadowed a later hallmark of Mahathir's politics, which focused on the "cultivation of such emblems of power".

  36. Its natural for anyone to feel underpaid. In fact ,it’s almost human nature. But the issue over adequate wages in recent weeks has captured the headlines and is gathering momentum. Indonesia kicked it off by suggesting its citizens who are employed as maids be paid a minimum of RM800 and has been playing hardball with Malaysia over that subject. It now appears to have settled for RM600 a month. In other news, it was reported that the Human Resources Ministry wants to review wages in selected sector of the economy. The move is done to get locals working on this sectors.

  37. Malaysia is famed for being a factory to the world. Total trade is larger than the gross domestic product of the country but the upward progress from being just a screwdriver assembly operations centre to a higher value added and technology manufacturing hub has not gone according to intentions. To achieve that, brilliant minds are at work to devise a strategy to get the economy onto the high income stage. Pulling that off is extremely difficult and not many countries in the world have manage this.

  38. Malaysians are generating waste at an alarming rate, much faster than the natural degradation process and they are using up landfill space. Statistic show that on average, Malaysians produce 0.8kg to 1.2kg of waste per day. This is the garbage that is being disposed of into the rubbish bins and collected by the solid waste management concessionaire. Although recycling, which will reduce the use of landfill , has almost drawn universal acceptance as a form of a waste disposal, yet the national domestic recycling rate still hovers at around 5%, with a large portion of our waste still ending up in landfills.

  39. If you didn’t laugh, it is often said, you’d cry. And from that philosophy of finding hilarity in hardship has come some of the best humour in history. Well, the British are never funnier than when they are miserable. But the revelation that some 25 million Britons have been injured while eating the humble biscuit really takes the cake. Mind you , the mind boggling figure was not simply plucked from thin air ; it came from research company Mindlab International using the newly invented Biscuit Injury Threat Evaluation(Bite). There are some plums to pick out of the report . it would be churlish to deny there are still pockets of excellence but dig a little deeper and the crack begin to show.

  40. Its seem that when overzealous safety surveys arrived in Britain , common sense flew out of the windows. But the health and safety nannies might have bitten more than they could chew if they were to introduce safety laws to protect the people from so-called dangerous snack. Imagine having to wear a protective helmet with padding and safety goggles simply because you want to take a bite of your favourite snack. Whatever the case, the survey is probably funded by the biscuit company and the medical research still remained one of the most challenging issues of our age.
