English i learned at my college was different from what i learned here. At my college, we only learned how to write, tp spell and how to use the grammar right. But here, i learned how to speak and how to pronounce the proper word when giving a speech. Here i have been exposed to a new knowledge on how to give speech wether during class session or during doing a public speaking. It is useful to me especially when i graduate from this university and start looking for a job that use english as a medium language at the company.
This course, Bachelor in Computer Science, majoring in computer graphics and multimedia, was my first choice when I applied for university. This is a result of me playing too much computer games and I fell in love with my computer. Now that I am attending subjects in my course, I realised that computer is not everything about game playing only. Computer subjects are all about logical thinking, mathematics, problem solving and creativity. Users of computers, like myself last time, are called end-users of the computer. Now that I learnt about how computer components interconnect, how the computer read the commands we gave them and how the program work line by line, I started to appreciate the wonders of computers. I would refrain myself from hitting my computer when it hangs. Instead, I would scold myself for overloading the computer by starting too many applications. Although we need to think of computers as only mere silicones and plastics that are dumb, I could not help thinking that computers are clever. Computers could run all the commands that we gave them. Most importantly, computers would not disobey the user. Although it will be, or it might be hell when pursuing this course, but if we have the passion in us, nothing is impossible.
This technical english course all about technique in your daily life and it just improve a litte bit with right skill...So to make we are special a bit then other people else we need to learn this..To learn this course for the first time is so bore...Because it different with our daily life communication and what we learn at school...That make me take a long time to adapt to this course TECHNICAL ENGLISH...although it so hard for me and my others calssmates to follow this but after a while we manage to do it.....CD09032 YAMIN ISMAIL
In this course, three times I spoke in front of my class. For the first time I presented about the word PRESENT. As I told so in last comments at this blog. PRESENT have it’s own meaning according to the alphabets. Now I remember the ‘S’ is for Show Examples. I’m felt nervous when speak in font of my ‘NEW’ classmate for the first time. But somehow I manage to make them laugh.
Second time I’m ordered to speak about Safety In Workplace. Actually I don’t have any Idea about that topic. But in the last minutes I manage to speak about the example how superior advise their subordinates to follow the rules.
In the same day. I have been ordered to talk about Morality of Zoo. For the second times in a day. I don’t Have any Idea…
Fundamental Discrete Structure is a mathematic subject. Everyone who is taking computer course also must takes this subject. This mathematics are relevant to computer subject like Programming Techniques . Without this subject the programmer also can not create a programs .Actually, I do not like mathematic subject since I am in standard form. But every year, I must taking mathematics subject. In UMP, I am already finished the syllabus of chapter 1 and 2.So,I will learn in chapter 3 about elementary number theory. Like the people say, we can not good in mathematics if we are lazy. This lazy mean we do not make any revision about the previous topics after the lecturer gives explanations about the topics .So, we will never good in mathematics. The best way to get A in mathematics subject are always make revision about the topics, asking lecturer if do not understands it and must make own exercise .I am sure by doing this way, it can help me to improve my mathematics levels. I really hope I get score A in this subject in this semester .Mathematics are relate with computer system, So, when someone are good in mathematics, he or she also will good to handle the computer system like create a programming.
I am happy Wendy. You are talkative Hadi. This is one of the things we do in technical English for the first time. Very enjoy to know all your course mates and of course with their name. I am always forgetful. You must believe. But different for this time, I can remember my entire friend’s name. Maybe this game helps me a lot to remember their name and their own adjectives. Other than that, I learn how to become a good speaker. A good and successful speaker must have their skills to attract the audience from being bored. Be confidence and speaks with a suitable voice when you are present in front of audience. Grammar mistake. Remember that. We always talk and write in short form method. So, we are facing the biggest problem in our pronunciations.
When the first time I know I get the course graphic and multimedia technology, I was very happy. I get the first choice course. But when I knew the place I going to study is at University Malaysia Pahang, I got a little bit disappointed. This is because UMP is not in my choice. In my opinion before I enter to the school, UMP is a place which a bit “kampung” that is not as modern as town in KL. After I enter the school, I change my opinion. I think UMP is not as bad as I though. It is quite a nice place to study and live with. I get to know more friends here making my social life more wonderful. Its fun to be in here.
In Application Development Workshop, we are now learning about how to design an interface. It is different with programming techniques although this subject also has taught about how to program a system. This subject is more emphasize on designing an interface, so it need our creative to create an interface that can attracted the person who using this system. Therefore, it may practice my creativity while doing this work. I think it is not bad for me to improve my creativity, because I was lack of creativity. Besides that, it is also hard for me when we have to write out the coding. If the coding I create was wrong, it will cause the system fail to run. So, it also practices me to become patient, because maybe I have to try it over and over again until success. In addition, I also face some problem when I want to save the document that I have done, that is I cannot open the folder after saving it. At first,when I rceive the offer letter I feel very shock.Actually,I did not expect that I will continue my study at UMP.Furthermore in the offer letter it tell me that I got the computer courses.That time I am very sad plus crying because I did not like to study about the computer.Before this,I open my computer only just to surfing,making blog,friendster,myspace and open the movie website then download any movies that I love to watch.Sometimes I also download new songs which I heard from radio.But when I take this course,I need to study all about the computer,not just about how to make graphic,but whole of the computer.In the early semesters,I have to study about the component in the computer,what is the computer,computer safety,how to make programming,history of the computer and many others that all about the computer.Before I register at this university,I always thinking how about my life at university.As I heard,life at university are very social and I will mix with other people who come from the whole part of this country.I need to know each other and make new friends.But I just take it easy because bafore this I had study at Melacca Matriculation Collage.I had many friends whos are from Pahang,Perak,Negeri Sembilan and other state in Malaysia.

But, when i practice and practice at my hostel-KK2, I find this subject quite making me excited. Unfortunately, as time goes by, I notice that there are still many codes or ways I need to learn from this subject... Maybe I shall put more efforts on it but how about other subjects? Although most of these are not harmful, some can cause throat and stomach infections. Germs are also spread if a person coughs or sneezes into the mouthpiece. Regular wiping of the phone with a disinfectant helps keep bugs at bay. Paints used in the home can also cause headaches, dizziness, nausea or allergic reactions due to certain chemicals used. Computer organization and architecture,this subject so bore..i don’t like..we have to remember every function of component in computer.But sometimes it’s can be funny because before this we don’t know what function of component in the computer.First time i come to this class,i feel so bored..i don’t know what the lecturer talking about.But,after we learn about the component,i think there are not so difficult.In chapter 3,we learn about the history in every component in computer,so tired to remember all of the history.
On the first day, I have first class with Encik Aziman, he explained a lot about programming technical. He likes to give us some advice. Besides, he also told us that this program is not a difficult to study if we try to improve ourselves in this program. The important thing is we should have interest in this program. But for now on, I’m still hard to go on with this program. Through this program, I have studied that we should know and remember all the codes to run a program. I really hope that I can excellence in this program one day. I also hope that my friends can help me to make me more confident to run any program.

Maybe it is to ensure that we are not sleepy. What I think about this subject is…it is just like bio!!! The only thing we need to do is remember and remember and remember. My third course in University Malaysia Pahang (UMP) is Fundamental Discrete Structure. The course was taught by Miss Rahimah. This is my favorite course because it all about mathematics. From the primary school, I really like mathematics. In my mind, always math,math,1,2,3,4,5,6 and so on. What a funny mind I have, what do you think? ”hahahah”. So when I started learn fundamental at here, I do not feel any difficulty to understanding what Miss Rahimah teach us. To tell truth, this course is almost the same as I learn in secondary school and in matriculation but not all the same. This course is like we learn again about the basic of mathematics. But it not a simple basic, it all about the computer.

ReplyDeleteAnd good evening.. This week I like to tell about a subject from my course namely Fundamental Discrete Structure. I like this subject because continues from subject mathematic which i learn on SPM especially. I enjoy in this class, I very like to use symbol. And in this subject I can know and learn a lot of symbol who I never see it before i’m here. This subject also give me a new experience with a best lecturer and all student like her. She do her job perfectly to make sure all can find what the matter. Although I know this subject is also difficult, I’m sure I can follow this subject by my own way. Many student want to drop it after first test because cannot get many marks, they feeling apprehensive this subject can downing their CGPA.. I also worry about it, but I feel so bad if I drop.. Maybe have other skill to pass this subject properly and goodly..

ReplyDeleteThe next subject that I would like to mumbling about is computer architecture and organization. This lecture is conducted by Mr.Fadli. he loves to joking with us. Maybe it is to ensure that we are not sleepy. What I think about this subject is…it is just like bio!!! The only thing we need to do is remember and remember and remember. Plus, we need to understand. It is difficult because we have to imagine the process. Why? The process is happen in the computer. I really think this subject is biology subject. I am starting miss my biology teacher at KMNS( Kolej Matrikulasi Negeri Sembilan ) . Luckily, Mr.Fadli will explain it again if we do not understand the subject.

As a computer sciences student, we not just learn about what our course all the time, like a graphic student we not just learn about graphic only but also many other thing. Almost everyone else (not computer science student) think that a computer sciences student know everything about computer . So we cannot just come to attend but must give a full attention in every subjects, especially in ICT Competency Workshop. It seem very hard to me, but that what I must do or maybe in I will face a bad future (I think).

Technical English is oe of the subject I learn in UMP.My first class for this subject I go to the lab.My lecturer is Miss Syafawati.My class on tuesday and wednesday.This subject do not have final examination,so must to score this subject such as do assigment.I learn about presentation skills.I learn about step-step How To Make Effective Presentations.The step is make eye contact,use body language and others.I learn to make presentation more interesting. I also must to complete Tell Me More.I felt very exasperate when do Tell Me More.I also must learn grammar.I learn about active and passitive.I hope my grammar can be more repairs.

i have 8 sibling..
i have 6 brothers and 1 sister...
abd i 7 in mu family..
im so happy with my family even i have 6 brothers and only one sister..
i feel they give me more attention and alway help me if i have some problem..
i also like share my story or my problem with them..
we all so closed...
sometimes they always advise me if i get wrong....
sometimes i so sad because my brothers married and it make them not give more attentions with me..
but i understand and try to not misunderstand with this situation...

My third course in University Malaysia Pahang (UMP) is Fundamental Discrete Structure. The course was taught by Miss Rahimah. This is my favorite course because it all about mathematics. From the primary school, I really like mathematics. In my mind, always math,math,1,2,3,4,5,6 and so on. What a funny mind I have, what do you think? ”hahahah”. So when I started learn fundamental at here, I do not feel any difficulty to understanding what Miss Rahimah teach us. To tell truth, this course is almost the same as I learn in secondary school and in matriculation but not all the same. This course is like we learn again about the basic of mathematics. But it not a simple basic, it all about the computer.
